This Privacy Policy describes how the Strawberry Festival App, operated by Parra Services Group, handles your information when you use our mobile application or receive text messages from us.

1. Information We Collect

Name — Your first and last name, used to personalize your experience and identify you within the event.
Phone number — Used to verify your identity at login via a one-time SMS code, and to send event announcements.
Email address — Collected as an alternative login method for guests who prefer not to use a phone number.
Push notification token — If you grant permission, used to send real-time event updates through the app.
RSVP status — Your attendance response, used by hosts to plan the event.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Passwords
Location data
Photos, camera, or microphone access
Financial or payment information
Device identifiers beyond push notification tokens
Browsing history or usage analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

Verify your identity when you log in to the App
Send you a one-time SMS authentication code
Display your personalized event and tournament schedule
Send event-day announcements, score updates, and host messages
Enable direct messaging between guests and hosts

4. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and logging in to the App, you consent to receive a one-time verification code at login and occasional event-day announcements from the festival hosts.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on event activity. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is stored securely and is only accessible by event administrators.

We use the following trusted providers solely to operate the App:

Supabase — secure cloud database
Twilio — SMS delivery for authentication codes and announcements
Expo — push notification delivery

6. Data Retention

All data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Guest data is retained for the duration of the Strawberry Festival event season and will be reviewed and purged within 90 days following the event.

7. Push Notifications

Push notifications are optional. You may decline notification permissions when prompted, or disable them at any time through your device's Settings app. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the App.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for guests of the Strawberry Festival, a private family event. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
